The Following is the function of our Committee Team Members.
The President Council Committee Members are to:
- Serves as a think tank that will give opinions and advice to the President COWAM in leading the direction of the association in achieving the goals of the establishment, in benefiting its members, and
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
The Registration Committee Members are to:
- Register new COWAM Members and keep all members' personal details, such as Full Name, IC No., Postal address, etc.
- Updated existing COWAM members' personal particulars upon request.
- To issue and manage the New COWAM Member Certificate.
- Prepare a report upon request and update the committee members on any issue related to registration and
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
- Registration Committee led by our Registrar (En Aizi Bin Abdul Ghaffar)
The Financial Committee Members are to:
- Prepared and maintained all the financial records and gave a report on financial expenses every month during the meeting.
- To prepare annual financial report for AGM and Registrar of Societies (ROS).
- Keep all financial documents and responsibilities to the auditor when required and
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
The Training and Education Committee Members are to:
- To plan and promote the implementation of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for Registered Inspectors of Works (IOW) or Intending Inspectors of Works to further enhance their knowledge in the latest technology, manufacturing, and construction act, which requires 30 CPD for triennial renewal.
- Conducting activities such as courses, workshops, seminars, suitable for registered IOW.
- Keep abreast of developments in the training and education of registered IOW and
- Other duties assigned from time to time.
The Profession Committee Member is
to provide facilities for job vacancies to COWAM Members.
- To cooperate with job hunter companies by offering them qualified and certified manpower for the posts/vacancies of Inspector of Works, Site Supervisor, and Engineer.
- To prepare the Standard Employment Contract.
- Conducting activities/career development such as career talk for students, site supervisor, intern IOW, and existing IOW, and Other duties assigned from time to time.
